A leading healthcare conglomerate struggled with fragmented IT asset management, weak lifecycle governance, and a disjointed CMDB plagued by inaccuracies. Our 55-member team executed a transformative program that streamlined Hardware Asset Management (HAM), optimized requisition processes, and elevated CMDB reliability. Leveraging out-of-the-box automation, bulk update capabilities, and the Walkup Experience, we accelerated asset workflows, reduced Requested Items (RITMs) from five to one, and enriched user interactions. Transitioning to pattern-based discovery fortified data accuracy, while standardized CMDB forms and a Health Dashboard ensured completeness, compliance, and correctness. To eliminate duplication, remediation workflows were re-engineered, supported by extensive user training and organizational change management. These initiatives collectively established the CMDB and Asset Management as true sources of record. The outcome was heightened efficiency, precise asset tracking, superior regulatory alignment, and a seamless user journey. The project not only met but exceeded expectations, rendering IT operations more agile, accurate, and reliable
